Prerequisites:

Sucessful Completion of Ground School & Forty Hours of Flying Time

Course Outline:

 

All FTI Applicants for a Private Pilot License in accordance with General Application Personnel Licensing (GAPL) Implementing Standards 1.6.1 shall demonstrate aeronautical knowledge in at least the following subjects appropriate to the privileges of the license being sought and appropriate to the category of aircraft intended to be included in the license:

 

- Air Law

- Aircraft General Knowledge for Aeroplanes

- Flight Performance, Planning and Loading

- Human Performance

- Meteorology

- Navigation

- Operational Procedures

- Radiotelephony
