Mr. Derek Gardier

Flight Instructor/Flight Examiner

 

Mr. Derek Gardier has been associated with the Barbados Light Aeroplane Club (BLAC) for many years and joined circa 1988. He became a Flight Instructor in 1999 to present, he gained his Private Pilot Licence in 1990 and his Barbados Commercial Pilot Licence in 1994.  Mr Gardier is a Barbados Certified Flight Instructor and has accumulated over 4800 hours flying time.  Derek also obtained his FAA Commercial Pilot and Certified Flight Instructor from Airman Flight School Inc, USA.

 

Mr. Gardier has also flown the C26A aircraft as a First Officer and Operations Officer with Regional Security Systems.
