Mr. William “Bill” Chandler

Chief Flight Instructor/Flight Examiner

 

Mr. William Chandler, familiarly known as “Bill”, has had a long career of over 39ears in the aviation industry and believes in the promotion of high aviation standards though quality training.  Mr. Chandler has clocked over 6,600 hours of flight time and has his Barbados Commercial Licence, Barbados Flight Instructor Rating, Flight Examiner Rating with the Barbados Civil Aviation Department and Canadian Commercial Licence Multi-Engine Rating.  Bill has flown several types of aircraft over the years and was the Chief Pilot for Aero Services (1974-1984) Chief Pilot for Trans-Island Air (1984-1998); Chief Flight Instructor for the Barbados Light Aeroplane Club (1979 - 2011) and Chief Flight Instructor for Coconut Airways (2011-2013); he currently holds the Chief Flight Instructor position at The Flight Training Institute (Barbados) Inc.

Mr. Chandler is also an entrepreneur having established and managed his on business for several years.
